Newly remodeled studio in Cruz Bay.

Great place, exactly as pictured and described. Clean & comfortable. Wonderful location if you don't want to rent a jeep. It was easy to walk to many restaurants, the market is right next door and cabs are just a short walk away. There wasn't anything I needed during my stay that Cayo Sereno didn't have. You can definitely hear the roosters crowing early in the morning. This is all over town though and not a reflection of this host at all. if you are a light sleeper bring a sound machine use an phone app like we did.

Great location! Walking distance to market, shopping, & downtown. Comfy space for 2 adults & toddler. Clean. Would have liked air conditioner to be stronger but also it was really, reallllllly hot outdoors. Would book again as small family.

Their place was great, and the view was even better in person. Very accessible to just about anything you could want to do in Cruz Bay (and within a 5-10 min walk of everything!) The apartment was just as advertised and had plenty of clean towels and linens, and was spotless when we got there. Fantastic spot to stay for a weekend getaway!

Great value for the money. Place was clean, fun and very walkable! Only criticism is that we would have liked Julie to be a bit more organized on check-in. There were some wires crossed on things like suite name and door codes that could have been avoided. All that being said, would stay there again!

Hi Tom, we are so sorry we crossed up. We accidently sent you the wrong unit name when we sent you a message about having the property painted. Our mistake! The airbnb app has all of the arrival instructions and directions to the unit very cleary written out. I think if you would have accessed the app you would have been just fine. Im thankful you were just one unit away from Cayo Sereno and you only needed to go down one set of steps to the correct door. I always recommend checking the app when there is confusion about anything at a property on AirBnb. We are glad you enjoyed the location and accessibilty to town and all the action here in Cruz bay. Thank you for pointing out how clean and comfortable our place is too. We work really hard to keep it spotless for our guests!

If your looking for close to everything this is the one ! I was able to walk for shopping and restaurants ! Left my car parked at mr pipers and it was a easy walk back to the condo !

This is a nice place located in the heart of Cruz Bay. The property has been recently renovated and looks great inside. They also provide lots of towels and beach chairs which was a nice touch. Now for the cons: Between the neighbor's barking dog and the loud roosters in the morning, it is a little loud, the windows provide little to no sound insulation. The lack of parking was also a minor inconvenience for us as the lumberyard (which is next door) charges $70 until 11;59pm. Since we weren't willing to wake up at 11:59pm every night to renew the parking, we parked for $8/day at the VIPA car barge gravel lot. Overall a good stay.

Very convenient location, close to everything in Cruz Bay. Very walkable to restaurants and shopping. Unit was very clean and well appointed. Great to have beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler available as we were flying in. Very pretty view of town and the surrounding water. We would definitely recommend this property.

Pros: -excellent location -laundry facility -lots of beach accessories provided: towels, chairs, cooler -good communication from hosts Cons: -overpriced for what it is -too many chores upon check out...we had to take our trash to St Thomas because we could not locate the dumpsters mentioned -unit needs maintenance. Cracked closet mirror door and chipped paint -no body wash or soap provided so make sure to bring your own Other tips: -check out is 10am which is the earliest we ran into in our multi island stay -we ran into quite a few bugs over our 3 nights including roaches and spiders. This wasn't a huge deal and is to be expected as we are in a tropical environment and it is an older building but something to be aware of! -since parking isn't provided we had good luck getting a free spot in the lot outside the DMV just down the hill -as the host mentions there is a noisy bar that opened nearby but we didn't find it to be disruptive with the windows and doors closed

Thank you for the review. We really appreciate you pointing out what a great location we have and the amenities we do provide. Our current checkout process in the app and during your stay is to text me when you need trash pick up. We used to have a dumpster close by but the city has removed it. Im sorry you had to dispose of your own trash. I would have gladly grabbed it for you. We do have a monthly insect service but yes it is difficult in the tropics. The mirror is cracked at the bottom but most people are just happy to see a full length mirror. We take a lot of pride in our unit and recently updated it all and furnishing, paint, and new a/c. We also have the unit priced well under most of our competition to help people such as yourself that want to do a multi island tour on a budget and allow short stays. We certainly hope you will return again. Some guests have found that when renting a car on st john helps becuase the local companies allow parking on their loys overnight.

Lovely place
Lovely studio. Clean and organized. In the middle of the city. Good sunset view. Comfortable bed. Cozy beach theme. Parking included, otherwise parking is a nightmare in St John. It included beach chairs and coolers, did not include snorkeling gear nor umbrella (not a complaint just fyi). TV included Netflix. There is a lot of noise in the morning, but the worst was rosters literally outside the window crowing at 5:45AM every morning. That was the worst. It's not the owners fault, it seems like the locals are used to them. This is a con for being so close to the restaurants and bars which are all walking distance.

Lovely place!
Stayed in 2023 for a week and it was delightful which is why I rebooked this year. A new event center is just downhill from the VRBO and the music is beyond loud until 3:00 am! Good thing it only happened the first two nights! Other than that the place is great, walking distance to everything!

What an awesome location in Cruz Bay. We really enjoyed our time here. Easy walking distance to everything. Grab a cab to the beaches or just walk a minute to the dolphin market or to the restaurants for a bite to eat. ❤️

This property was sooooo amazing, I'm hesitant to say a word so the secret doesn't get out! One of the best AirBnBs I've stayed in. The view here is far better than what you'll get at the popular Grande Bay Resort and honestly took my breath away. Julie was very responsive when I had questions and gave adequate directions on how to get to the property and access the studio.

I loved my stay here! It was my first time on St. John, and I loved every bit of it. We were able to walk everywhere without renting a car, and the taxis were so close when we wanted to go to the beaches. The only downside is the loud music on the weekends, but it didn't stop me from sleeping. Well worth it and would book again!

This studio is cute and exactly as described. The location truly can't be beat—especially for a first-time visitor or someone coming for a short stay who wants to be right in the middle of everything and doesn't plan to rent a vehicle. It's budget-friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. Pros: - Location, location, location - Newly remodeled - Super comfortable bed - Budget stay Cons: - Very loud late at night and early in the morning - No on-site parking (even though there seems to always be open spaces available) - Steep hill to taxis and parking (worth noting if you have luggage or beach gear) - Limited beach amenities (only one beach towel provided, so plan to bring your own) We visit the island fairly often and really appreciated the spot for this shorter stay, but for our travel style, the late-night/early-morning noise and parking restrictions would likely keep us from choosing this place again.

Julie and Dave are great hosts. Very helpful and responsive. Condo standouts: comfortable bed, decently stocked kitchen, dining space for 4, and patio with stellar views of sunsets, boats coming and going, and St. Thomas in the distance. The best thing about this condo is the location. Easy walk to the ferry dock, Park Visitors Center, all of Cruz Bay / Mongoose Junction's eateries, shops, and the almost next door Dolphin Market (decently stocked grocery store). Plus you can see it from the ferry and from the Lind Point Overlook. Just look for the turquoise building! We also appreciated the binder full of restaurant menus and excursion descriptions and the recommendations from Tara. One downside is the noise. This condo is on a busy street, and we heard more trucks and booming car "music" than we imagined when planning our serene island getaway. But we got used to it, and quiet is easy to find on nearby park trails and beaches. Overall, a great choice for our first trip to St John

Very close to the ferry docks and to downtown Cruz Bay. It was nice to be able to eat I sometimes during our stay versus eating out every meal. Julie also had everything you need for the beach. The restaurant only drawback was the lack of parking. We have overcame this renting from Dolphin rent a jeep which was literally in the next building and allowed,us to keep our car in their spaces overnight. I believe a lot of the other vehicle rentals will also let you park in their lots overnight.
